June 16, 2009 Board Meeting Agenda Item #46 Title APPROVAL TO AWARD BID #9158 FOR AIR CONVEYANCE SYSTEM CLEANING Description Bids to provide 'Air Conveyance System Cleaning' were received from five vendors on May 21, 2009.  The bids of Cross Environmental Services, Inc., and Simpson Environmental Services, Inc., were the best low bids meeting the advertised specifications.  This bid is for a period of one year with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods.  The funds for these purchases are contained in the capital budget allocated to the Facilities Services Department. Recommendation That the bids of Cross Environmental Services, Inc., and Simpson Environmental Services, Inc., to provide 'Air Conveyance System Cleaning' in an amount not to exceed $300,000.00, be approved for award and purchase.
